Thank you for your interest in Governors Endodontics, a specialty practice dedicated exclusively to microscopic root canal treatment and endodontic microsurgical care. We provide the highest standard of professional care in a friendly relaxing boutique environment. After several years of private practice and over a decade in academia, Dr Tawil followed his passion for patient care by opening a patient centric clinic to serve our local community. Dr Seagroves, a native of Chatham County joined Governors Endodontics in 2024, he studied with Dr Tawil at UNC & share similar patient centric philosophies. Our office brings the latest technologies combined with a top-class academic experience in a private practice convenience.

Experience: Dr Tawil has been practicing in this profession since 2004 and has over a decade of top-class academic experience serving as the Endodontics Graduate Program Director and as the Olmsted Distinguished Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel hill. He published over 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers during his tenure at UNC. Dr Tawil has also been nominated yearly since 2011 as a "Top Dentists" by his peers in the Chapel Hill magazine. Dr Seagroves, a native from Chatham County, didn't have to travel far for his undergraduate degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors and distinction. He continued his studies at UNC by earning his DDS degree with honors, graduating at the top of his class with a 4.0 GPA and receiving awards for scholarship and ethics. He became a Triple Tar Heel by completing graduate studies with a Master's degree and certificate in Endodontics at UNC, where he served as chief resident. He's currently a part-time faculty member at UNC where he helps in teaching activities in Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry & their Trauma Team.
